We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care to patients who have undergone surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort during the recovery process. This position requires a high level of skill and experience in caring for patients in an outpatient setting, as well as knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for providing quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient's vital signs and provide care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU).
- Assess patient's condition and provide appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding post-operative care.
- Document patient's progress and care.
- Assist with surgical procedures as needed.
- Assist with outpatient procedures as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 45 per week
