Performance Responsibilities:
Terms of Employment: Salary and work year to be according to the current salary schedule and the Professional Agreement. Ten-month (10) assignment.
Salary and Benefits: Salary range and benefits are commensurate with qualifications and experience in accordance with Board of Education Policy.
Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy on evaluation of professional personnel.

Qualifications:
- Possess or be eligible for a valid Delaware teaching license and be certified as an Early Childhood Teacher 14 Del. C. § 1520 required.
- Possess or be eligible for a valid Delaware teaching license and be certified as Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities 14 Del. C. § 1571 required.
- Experience and training in ethical administration, scoring, and interpretation of clinical assessments preferred.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of building and district teams to assist in the appropriate evaluation, identification and classification of special needs students.
- Participate in the development of an evaluation plan, in collaboration with the district team of psychologists, for yearly initial and re-evaluations.
- Demonstrate the ability to utilize and support the use of COGNOS, E-School, Power School IEP, and other platforms as needed by district staff.
- Coordinate quarterly ICT meetings, contact participants, prepare facilities, support the appropriate documentation for presentation at the meeting.
- Coordinate the preparation of out-of-district ICT initial and renewal applications.
- Support building teams with the identification of students requiring special education support.
- Perform other necessary duties as assigned.
