The prime responsibility of the Medical Practice Manager is the day-to-day management of an assigned home location while providing business development support to our other locations in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer and HR Director. The Medical Practice Manager will focus on development, service quality, development of a service and sales culture, and execution to brand standards all leading to annual revenue and profitability growth. A successful Medical Practice Manager will drive consistent growth in metrics, low employee turnover, operational compliance, and a bench of leaders within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Understand, believe in, and uphold CAPS Mission, Vision and Values.
- Develop a thorough understanding of CAPS services and products.
- Partner with the COO and HR Director to help train staff on soft skills, business acumen, and metrics to strive for professional development.
- Ensures their home location and assigned territory is performing and has a laser focus on key performance indicators.
- Assist assigned locations with staffing needs, interviews, and hiring process.
- Coach, develop, and retrain under performers in sales and service expectations.
- Ensure locations are current on all licensure, training, and documentation in accordance with state/federal/franchisor/company regulations.
- Participate in company conference calls and weekly management calls.
- Conducts location visits on a monthly basis, as defined by the organization, and as needed to drive successful results.
- Facilitates the resolution of customer service issues with locations while successfully identifying and addressing systemic opportunities throughout their organization.
- Promotes and implements new products, services, and initiatives.
- Responsible for home location’s payroll entry and inventory management.
- Review payroll, inventory, and applicable reports to audit for errors and address profitability related opportunities.
- Use financial plans for spotting trends, measuring productivity and monitoring progress.
- Control ongoing service and product margin analysis to ensure profitability.
- Implement opportunities for managing operational costs and boosting the bottom line.
- Maintain a strong menu of services with both exceptional artistic and aesthetic value.
- Consistently develop and grow retail sales through training, tools and monitoring.
- Develop and monitor job descriptions and staff goals.
- Create and maintain staff contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Perform staff evaluation reports with proposed action plans.
- Effectively administer and monitor staff scheduling procedure.
- Demonstrate an exceptional level of professionalism for the staff to emulate.
Experience
- A proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams that support and execute on a sales and service culture.
- A proven ability to identify, develop, and promote staff within a location and multi-unit setting.
- A proven ability to build authentic relationships based on mutual accountability, authenticity, and excellence that aims towards achieving service and financial goals.
Requirements
- Must be willing to travel between our Chicago and suburban locations as needed
- Strong analytical and communications skills
- Comprehensive understanding of Profit & Loss statements
- BS or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a multi-unit leadership role (Spa/Surgical/Sale management preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong communication and people skills
