Summary of Position
- Accountable for the overall management, supervision, and development of respective physician practice and ambulatory
value.

Principal Accountabilities
- Work collaboratively with providers, administrative and clinical managers, and staff to ensure the achievement of
operations and nursing leaders, medical office medical director, senior medical directors, and Lumeris leaders to
evaluate performance data and improve outcomes in support of our value-based payer arrangements. Supervise and
coordinate all processes and activities in the area/functions assigned ensuring organizational guidelines and policies
are followed.
- Oversee and document the implementation of and compliance with policies, procedures, programs, protocols, and
the quality of patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, departmental and organization
policies and procedures for all staff.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with leadership, care teams, providers, policy-making bodies,
- Disseminate and monitor adherence to departmental/group procedures and conduct meetings with physicians and
organizational performance, open communication and problem resolution, ensuring goals are achieved and
policies/procedures are followed. Assist the Director or AVP, Regional Operations in developing organizational
strategic plans and objectives based upon identified needs of patients and the communities served by the respective
offices. Assess market trends and local needs and guides the development of services.
- Assist with budget preparation by providing input on anticipated revenues and expenses. Evaluate monthly
achieve organizational objectives. Initiate supply orders and control operating expenses. Review payroll to ensure
compliance with E-Time policies and procedures; address any deviations.
- Monitor key performance indicators to include but not limited to: Schedule and Provider Utilization, No-show, and
and Referral Work Queues. Implement performance improvement initiatives, as needed. Continuously seek and
implement operational improvements. Lead, support, and mentor staff consistent with ACPNY’s strategic plan, to
maintain an efficient patient-centered environment ensuring accountability, quality patient care, and patient
satisfaction.
- Assist in the hiring and general orientation of staff; provide work direction, assign schedules, and conduct on-the-job
transfers, and disciplinary actions. Assist in the interpretation of and compliance with Human Resources, ACPNY and
departmental policies and procedures. Ensure employees understand and comply with local, state, federal and
regulatory standards, as they apply to respective job functions.
- In collaboration with the Senior Medical Director, Medical Office Medical Director, the Manager, Nursing, and the
recommendations to ensure to compliance with OSHA regulations. Work within scope to ensure equipment and
facilities are safe and clean, medical equipment is operating properly, and the environment of care is adequate.
Report any environmental deficiencies to facilities or on-site maintenance. Comply and enforce all HIPAA and
information security policies and procedures and reports all suspected cases of breaches of security and
confidentiality. Adhere to ACPNY patient-related issues policy.
- Lead and operationalize ACPNY pilot initiatives that are consistent with the strategic direction of the organization

Education, Training, Licenses, Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree (R) (Healthcare Management or Business Administration - preferred)
Relevant Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 5+ years’ progressive professional work experience in an ambulatory care setting including 3+ years supervisory experience in
- Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience working in a unionized environment (P)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) with all types/levels of audiences. (R)
- Strong customer service skills (R)
- Demonstrated abilities in: Inductive Reasoning, Data Analytics, Employee Engagement, Conflict Resolution, Marketing
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint). (R)
- Proficiency with computer systems including electronic medical records systems, practice managements systems, and clinical
- Extensive knowledge of the healthcare marketplace, financial analysis, current reimbursement issues, budgets and
- Strong knowledge of clinical office procedures, medical practices, and terminology (R)
