- Develop and execute effective PR campaigns to promote our organization’s mission, initiatives, and success stories.
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry experts.
- Monitor media coverage and respond to inquiries promptly.
- Prepare press releases, statements, and other PR materials.
- Ensure brand consistency across all communication channels.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align PR efforts with overall brand strategy.
- Manage crisis communication and reputation management.
- Organize and promote events, conferences, and webinars.
- Coordinate media attendance and coverage during events.
- Oversee administrative tasks related to PR, such as budget management, reporting, and scheduling.
- Maintain databases of media contacts and track PR metrics.
- Collaborate with business development teams to identify potential new members.
- Develop strategies to attract local entrepreneurs and encourage their participation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in PR, preferably in a non-profit or community-focused setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.
