We are looking for a full time Asset Manager to join PowerFlex. They will manage the Solar/BESS Asset Management team and be responsible for the performance of the portfolio of solar and battery storage projects. This will include working cross functionally with the engineering, execution, and software teams internally as well as utilities, reporting agencies and 3rd party contractors. They will be responsible for ensuring that each client is provided with the highest level of customer service and insight into the performance of their systems.
ResponsibilitiesPortfolio Managemento Ensure all assets are functioning at optimal levels for energy production, storage capacity and financial returnso Develop tracking mechanisms to be able to report and advise on the aboveo Assist with onboarding of all new sites to the portfolio, including contracting, document transition and client managemento Management of various invoices to clients including power purchase agreements Client Communicationso Own the relationship between clients and PowerFlex post construction. o Effectively communicate technical aspects of solar and BESS assets to clients or stakeholderso Provide regular updates on project performance, energy production and financial returns Relationship Managemento Manage O&M vendor contracts to ensure compliance from service providers and to develop long term relationshipso Develop and maintain relationships with cross functional departments to ensure clear communication and support necessary to support project functions Performance Monitoringo Monitor and evaluate the performance of solar and BESS assets against energy production targets and financial goalso Identify opportunities for performance improvement and implement changes as needed
Team managemento Provide direction, support and serve as the point of escalation to a team who will be doing day to day management of billing, preventative and maintenance repair coordination, monitoring etc. o Create department documentation to ensure that there are repeatable SOP's in place for department to followo Review of current processes and procedures for optimization and streamlining
Qualifications
Education/Experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Math, Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. Additional qualifications or certifications in renewable energy, sustainability, are beneficial. 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, asset management, or portfolio management within the renewable energy sector. Additional experience in project contract or financial modeling is a plus Familiarity with renewable energy technologies, market trends, and regulatory frameworksSkills/Knowledge/Abilities- Exceptional attention to detail Ability to read and understand contracts Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete tasks efficiently Self-starter who can complete tasks and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision Experience with Salesforce Experience with Click Up a plus Strong Microsoft Office skills Should be comfortable in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
