JOB DESCRIPTION
Work Schedule: hours varies.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently in progress)
- If driving Lakeview vehicles: Must be age 18 or older and have at least 1 year of driving experience. Must have a valid driver’s license and meet all criteria required under Lakeview’s Automobile Liability Guidelines.
- Able to work extremely well with the general public and other staff members in a variety of settings.
- Costumes are large and may be heavy– so must have the physical ability to transport, carry and wear costumes.
- Be able to stand and walk for prescribed periods of time in costume.
- Able to read individuals’ social cues to understand the level of interaction each person may want.
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel to and from events in Washington County and Western Wisconsin
- Possess a flexible schedule to work nights and weekends.
- Able to conduct oneself professionally and represent Lakeview & Powerup as an ambassador and entertainer.
- Possess personal attributes including enthusiasm, creativity, spontaneity, responsibility, self-discipline, and reliability/punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous mascot experience or theatre experience
