JM Family is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power Platform Solution Engineer to join our dynamic Power Platform IT Delivery team. As a Power Platform Solution Engineer, you will be a key engineer deploying, monitoring, and implementing innovative solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate (Flow), Azure, and Dataverse. Your expertise in managing environments and releases of new technologies will optimize development, customizing applications, automating processes, and creating data visualizations. Ultimately your work will contribute to optimizing our business processes and driving organizational efficiency around our Power Platform environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and monitor Power Platform environments and solutions within those environments.
- Track, maintain, and communicate to senior leadership user adoption and ROI metrics of team value and the impact the Power Platform is having on the organization.
- Active participation in our departmental Center of Excellence with an emphasis on driving increases in user adoption experience and transition
- Creating pipeline processes for Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) using Azure DevOps and the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) - ALM Accelerator.
- Develop, implement, and improve Power Apps (Canvas, CE, Model) and Power BI reports to streamline environment administration processes, enhance user experience, and improve productivity.
- Create complex workflows and process automation using Power Automate, integrating with various systems and services within the Microsoft suite of products.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, data governance policies, and utilization limits while administering Power Platform solutions and environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Power Platform solutions with existing IT systems and applications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to business developers on Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) - ALM processes, deployment techniques, and administrative best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform debugging, and optimize performance of Power Platform solutions and deployments.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in Power Platform and related technologies, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years hands-on as a Power Platform Developer and Administrator, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful development and deployment of Power Apps and Power Automate solutions.
- Proficiency building canvas and model-driven Power Apps, creating custom connectors, and utilizing Common Data Service (CDS) for application and data integration.
- Expertise in designing and implementing complex Power Automate workflows, integrating with APIs, databases, and external services.
- Ability to create data visualizations using Power BI, including creating interactive reports, dashboards, and data modeling.
- Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance considerations within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
- Strong attention to detail, self-starter, and passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
Nice to have:
- Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, and SQL for extending Power Platform functionality.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence - AI technology implementation such as M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Fundamentals
- Microsoft Partner or Implementation Partner Consulting experience.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
- Membership and participation in Power Platform, D365, Azure, and/or O365 communities and user groups.
