Cherokee Nation 3S is seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals, programming logic, and modern web technologies. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing custom SharePoint assets while integrating Power Platform capabilities. This role requires the ability to engineer solutions using data from diverse sources, including legacy systems, and deploy custom solutions following customer release processes.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Estimated Starting Salary Range for Power Platform Developer: $155,000 Pay commensurate with experience.
• Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided.

Power Platform Developer Responsibilities Include: 

• Must understand data engineering fundamentals, such as data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL). 
• Must understand programming logic fundamentals, such as scope, variable management, conditions, and iteration. 
• Well-versed in web technologies and modern architecture and is familiar with best practices.
• Must be able to design, create, and successfully implement custom SharePoint assets, including but not limited to pages, lists, document libraries, and document sets. 
• Must be able to manage permission settings and integrate SharePoint with Power Platform capabilities.
• Will engineer and document solutions using data from various sources, including legacy systems. 
• Deploy Power Platform custom solutions following customer release processes. Identify, analyze, and automate business processes using Microsoft 365 Tools, namely Power Platform.
• Will, to the greatest extent possible, automate data process and integrate solutions in the Microsoft 365 environment.

Power Platform Developer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

• Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly, answer technical questions from customers, and be able provide efficient technical solutions to problems. 
• Experience working directly with clients, providing guidance to them as well as internal teams. Strong problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. 
• Prior experience answering technical questions from customers, writing corresponding technical documentation.
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, developing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to be integrated into SharePoint and Teams user

environments. 

• Must be able to create and manage custom assets in Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Must be able to model and visualize data in Power BI. Must be able to leverage SharePoint for file and data management, as well for user interface. 
• Experience in using standard and custom connectors for Power Apps and Power Automate.  
• Experience with creating and maintaining a PP environment strategy and managing the lifecycle of PP solutions. 
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
