Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking a Power Plant Engineer to join our team. WRC offers a strong opportunity for advancement, growth, and development.

As part of the WRC team:
- Operate all the equipment in the Power House. There are four high-pressure boilers; three feed water pumps, two condensate pumps, two hot well pumps, and four oil pumps. Also, operate the two 1,000 KW diesel generators, 85 KW natural gas generator, and the 12,500 volt switchgear for the electric distribution system. Operate the emergency generator at the Wellfield. Operate the computerized energy management system, which controls all heat and air conditioning in the surrounding buildings.
- Under general supervision, perform skilled maintenance and repair work in the Power House, Water and Waste Water Plants, Wellfield, or wherever needed at the institution.
- Perform preventive maintenance on furnaces, air conditioners, air compressors, unit heaters, exhaust fans, humidifiers, water heaters, and steam traps.
- Climb stairs or ladders several times a day. Stand, stoop, bend and move about for an eight-hour shift. Lift and carry supplies weighing up to 80 lbs. or more.
- Other duties as assigned.
