Our team is looking for a Power BI Developer to join them. You will report to the Head of Data Analytics and will have a hybrid work schedule in one of our site locations: Chatsworth, CA, Creedmoor, NC, Bishops Cleeve or Staverton, UK.
To be considered for Power BI Developer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- Proven experience of administering and working in Microsoft Fabric tenant.
- Experience developing and documenting master datasets / dataflows / datamarts.
- Ability to manage objects through a dev/test/prod DevOps cycle.
- Strong understanding and implementation of DAX and M-Query languages.
- Proven experience in training audiences of varying role and expertise.
- Prior development and management of a technical training curriculum.
- Skill in developing Power BI reports, metrics and dashboards to tell a data story.
- Experience of working in the Aerospace, Engineering, Manufacturing sectors
- Experience with the following toolset highly preferred:
- Microsoft Fabric/Power BI Analytics
- GitHub peer review
- Kimball Dimensional Modelling
- M Query and DAX languages
- Snowflake Data Warehouse
As a Power BI Developer, you will:
- Be the go-to person for our Microsoft Fabric / Power BI platform
- Be responsible for maintaining the tenant, workspaces, datasets, reports and other Fabric objects.
- Support select global functions for their analytical needs
- Act as the primary point of contact for analysts across the business utilizing the platform.
- Develop and deliver training to users of various proficiency levels.
- Perform exploratory data analysis on a range of complex business problems.
- Administer and maintain our Power BI ecosystem.
- Audit workspace and dataset permissions.
- Manage our master datasets, including table refreshes, joins, measures and lineage.
- Maintain our data dictionary.
- Provide input on the company data strategy by suggesting and proving new technologies and innovations.
- Contributing to the translation of data into valuable insights that inform data driven decisions.
- Develop dashboards and reports to present data insights to stakeholders around the business.
- Support end-user technical questions and assist in data education.
- Participate in and audit data governance activities.

Salary Range:
- $95,000-$110,000/year, based on experience
