JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications. ACLS may be required prior to first shift.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Postpartum RN within the last year.
- Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
- Familiarity in providing post-anesthesia care following a C-section or vaginal delivery.
- Strong assessment skills surrounding pregnancy and labor including high risk cases.
- Must show competency with infant assessment, stabilization, and monitoring.
