Form of workThe candidate will join Akbilgic Lab doing research on cardiovascular disease detection and risk prediction. Pay is aligned with NIH's postdoctoral fellow salary recommendations. Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
Responsibilities
Participate in research activities including building deep and machine learning models on large and diverse data sets including signal, image, and tabular format data. The candiate will be responsible of an entire cycle of data science on assigned projects ranging from data acquisition, manipulation, model building to preparation of research articles and grant proposals, under supervision.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills:
- PHD in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related engineering field
- Excellent Python programming skills
- Expertise in deep learning, CNN, RNN, autoencoders
Preferred Skills:
- Signal Processing
- NLP-LLM expertise
- IOS/Android app development expertise
- SQL
