Postdoctoral Fellow - Bioinformatics & Computational Biology

We are seeking outstanding applicants for Postdoctoral positions to work at the intersection of machine learning, image processing and single cell/spatial omics under the supervision of Dr. Ken Chen in the Department of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, in close collaboration with Translational Molecular Pathology. Develop data processing pipeline to support spatial omics data analysis with TMP-IL platform.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/Biostats, Math/Statistics/Physics, Computer Science/Engineering.
Experience analyzing and interpreting high-throughput data such as microscopy, histological/pathological images, gene expression, etc.
Experience developing and disseminating novel computational tools, particularly machine-learning and AI.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, Matlab, C/C++.
At least 2 first-author publications in peer reviewed journals.
POSITION INFORMATION
MD Anderson follows the NIH stipend levels as outlined by the Kirchstein - NRSA. This full-time trainee position will provide a salary between $56,484 to $68,604, dependent upon the years of postgraduate experience.
