Post-Production Manager

CatFace is a YouTube entertainment company, home to a family of channels with 20+ million subscribers and an average of 450 million views per month. Our goal is to entertain our audience with fun, light-hearted narratives and entertaining content for both children and young adults. A vital component of our business is creating multiple unique stories every week in order to keep our audience engaged.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Post Production Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent managerial abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for organizing post-production workflows. As the Post Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality content while maintaining efficiency and organization within the post-production department.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire post-production process from editing to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
• Manage a team of editors, animators, sound designers, and other post-production staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support as needed.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows and procedures to streamline the post-production process and maximize productivity. (problem solver)
• Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure creative vision is realized and maintained throughout the editing process.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, making adjustments as necessary to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in post-production, and implement new tools and techniques to enhance workflow efficiency and quality.
• Maintain organization within the post-production department, including file management, asset tracking, and project documentation.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, creativity, and professional growth among team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in film production, digital media, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience (3+ years) in post-production management, preferably within the entertainment or digital media industry.
• Strong managerial and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their best work.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency with industry-standard post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Pro Tools, etc.
• Solid understanding of video and audio editing techniques, color correction, visual effects, and other aspects of post-production.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced production environment.
• Passion for storytelling, creativity, and innovation in digital media production.

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Minecraft Expertise: Knowledge and experience with Minecraft, including understanding of gameplay mechanics, building techniques, and modding capabilities. Familiarity with Minecraft's community, trends, and content creation tools is a plus.
• Roblox Familiarity: Understanding of Roblox platform, games, and game development tools. Experience with Roblox Studio, Lua scripting, and creating Roblox experiences is advantageous.
• YouTube Space Knowledge: Familiarity with YouTube's content policies, best practices, and creator resources. Understanding of YouTube analytics, audience engagement strategies, and platform-specific features is beneficial.
