Position Description
Advertised Job Summary
The Arnold Childhood Obesity Initiative Research Group in the Department of Exercise Science is in search of a Post Doctoral Fellow. The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, participation in the implementation of behavioral clinical trials, preparation of manuscripts and grant applications, data analysis, delivering scientific presentations at regional and national conferences, seeking out and applying for fellowship and/or research funding, and other related tasks.
Required Education and Experience
Ph.D. in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Public Health, Behavior Change or a closely-related social science/Public Health field.ABD applicants are welcome to apply. Selected candidate must provide evidence of completion of all degree requirements prior to employment start date.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Must have strong computer and verbal communication skills. Must have strong data analysis skills and expertise with children’s physical activity research. Candidate must be proficient in speaking and writing English.
