Position: Lvn Or Rn On-Call After-Hours Nurse

Are you a night owl, a student, or working during the day and looking to earn extra income? Join our team at Generation Care- Hospice and Palliative Care as an after-hours runner! We're seeking enthusiastic individuals to provide crucial support during evening and weekend shifts.
Position: LVN or RN On-Call After-Hours Nurse

• Standby rate: $6/hour
• LVN visit rate: $50
• RN visit rate: $150
• Shift hours: Weekdays 5pm to 9am the following morning, and Friday 5pm to Monday 9am

As an on-call nurse, you'll receive compensation for being available and additional payment for visits. Your role involves responding to patient needs after hours, providing essential care as directed by our RN team.
Requirements:

• Valid nursing license (LVN or RN)
• CPR certification
• Driver's license and car insurance

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to hospice patients in various settings, including private homes and facilities
• Assist in assessments, following orders, and coordinating visits for multidisciplinary support
• Document interventions and patient responses accurately
• Administer medications and treatments
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff
• Maintain patient dignity and comfort, especially in end-of-life care
• Triage calls and attend to urgent needs
• Attend death visits and fulfill scheduled or requested visits as necessary
