Job Description
$1,500 Signing Bonus
Initial COVID-19 vaccination is required (no booster or updated vaccine necessary, only an initial vaccination)
This position is responsible for ongoing monitoring of the Lease portfolio and coordinating with loan accounting and 3rd party Lessors on needed items. This position is also responsible for collection of past due payments either direct with customers or via 3rd party Lessors and sending default and other notices and ordering and coordinating repos. This position works closely with the Special Assets Department on defaulted contracts and assists as necessary with skip tracing, repos, remarketing, etc. The Portfolio/Collections Manager reports to the SVP/Lease Dept. Manager and does not directly manage other employees.
Experience and Skills
Additional job functions include support of the day to day department functions including system file maintenance, cross training as back up in credit scoring, tickler and task maintenance, preparation of internal forms and reports, approval memos, funding documents and will assist with internal and external audit/loan reviews.
Skills
Pool compliance & Participants: In regard to purchased portfolios, coordinate with Lessors to obtain monthly/quarterly delinquency reporting and/or compliance reporting and financials as appropriate. Review for accuracy and defaulted contracts that need substitution or payoff. Send reporting and/or financials to participants (if any) and ensure updated financials are uploaded into internal systems.
Time: Position is full time and requires minimum days in the office per bank policy of Tuesday-Thursday. Mondays and Fridays are flex days and can be either in the office or remote work. This hybrid schedule is subject to change by management at any time.
Cross training: This position shall cross train in other job functions so there is adequate coverage when someone is out. This may include lease fundings/closings, review of portfolio compliance reporting, CAD generation, LAPSR generation, etc.
