Our Portfolio Analyst position is a dynamic and evolving role which supports the senior Portfolio Management team in the execution of its strategy as well as assist in the trading and operational aspects of the department. We are looking for individuals wanting to move into the PM side of the house and develop their career.
Being a Portfolio Analyst at Public Trust Advisors requires supreme attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines. Strong communication skills, initiative and decision making skills are needed to be successful in this role. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to be exposed to portfolio management and trading as you are performing your duties right at the trading desk alongside the PM team from the CIO down.
This role requires a 4-year bachelor's degree; preferably in finance, economics, or similar major as well as 2-3 years of work experience in the financial industry. Candidates currently pursuing a CFA are highly encouraged to apply. Experience with Bloomberg is required as is proficiency in MS Office, and advanced Excel skills. Experience with money markets or fixed income assets is highly desired.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Daily reconciliation of fund assets, securities, and cash.
- Update and maintain fund management reports.
- Execute cash management trades.
- Resolve and document trade settlement issues.
- Perform broker dealer due diligence.
- Assist with firmwide requests for market data and intelligence.
- Research new products.
- Facilitate regulatory filings.
- Other duties as assigned.

Salary range for our Portfolio Analyst is $70,000 - $90,000 (doe) plus a discretionary performance bonus. This position is based out of our downtown Denver HQ and is a HYBRID work opportunity with Monday and Thursday in the office and the remainder of the workdays remote from home. The trading desk hours are 6AM - 3PM Monday - Friday. Relocation is not offered for this position.
