Job Summary:
A warehouse porter (3rd Shift) is responsible for helping keep the Distribution Center clean, clear of clutter and debris, and contributing to a safe work environment by helping provide a neat and sanitary workspace for everyone.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

• Performs a variety of janitorial, maintenance and cleaning activities to meet the established standards of appearance, cleanliness and safety of the distribution center and grounds.
• General sweeping and cleaning of interior/exterior building premises, which include all restrooms, windows, doors, offices, and employee break room.
• Must maintain all Sanitation and Cleaning Logs that require a routine verification daily.
• Comply with OSHA standards and Company safety procedures in the workplace.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, removing debris and clutter, and properly disposing of packaging materials.
• Occasionally assisting with other warehouse tasks, such as picking and packing orders, conducting, and preparing merchandise for shipment.
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory duties.
Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
Education and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to work in cold and/or dry environment, or any combination of both throughout the shift.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and janitorial concepts and techniques.
• Accurate documentation and reporting skills are required.
• Ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

• Basic knowledge of Warehouse organization procedures.
• Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• Able to lift and move heavy merchandise items.
• Flexible schedule, including ability to work on weekends, as needed.

Work Environment

• Standing, walking, bending, squatting most of the time.
• Repetitive motions including pushing & pulling with hands most of the time.
• Frequently carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Seldom sitting or crawling.
