Hours: Sunday-Tuesday 7p-7a, Wednesday 7p-1a
- Greets all patients and visitors in a courteous manner while initiating the check-in process.
- Obtains and verifies accurate patient identification and demographical data to confirm or update patient’s permanent medical record, while recognizing and maintaining the confidentiality of all patient information.
- Responsible for completing the patient registration and admission process, upfront or point of service collections, and providing professional customer service during face-to-face, as well as telephone interactions with patients and visitors, physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel.
Education
- High School education or the equivalent GED.
- Prefer course work in medical terminology.
Experience
- Six months clerical and customer service experience required.
- Some computer experience required.
- Prefer medical and insurance experience.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 30 WPM.
Compensation/Benefits
- $14.29-$23.34/hr depending on previous work experience.
