Job Overview - Pool Technician: Maintain and service Commercial and Estate pools throughout the Las Vegas Valley
- Must be CPO certified or obtain CPO certification within a year of hire
- Chemical automation experience preferred, but not required
- Work schedule is 5 days per week, roughly 30-40 hours per week
- Access to company vehicle during work hours and fuel costs are covered by CWS
- Work schedule will vary between the summer months and off-seasons (fall, winter and spring)
- Work schedule is subject to change daily depending on repairs, special projects, emergency jobs, etc.
Scope of Work and Responsibilities
- Communicate with the Supervisor frequently during the workday
- Must keep cell phone on-hand at all times
- Communicate with co-workers often (the properties are large – ensure your co-workers know where you are, what tasks you are working on, etc.)
- Complete daily maintenance/duties on properties according to schedule (must be prompt)
- Communicate with property managers on site when necessary
- Netting, brushing and vacuuming pools. Testing pool chemistry. Working hands on with hazardous chemicals. Must be able to lift 70 pounds. Must be prepared to work in the elements and be on your feet for the majority of your shift
- Keep inventory of supplies on properties and in work vehicles; notify management on a weekly basis of the supply levels (chemicals, parts, etc.)
- Must be flexible to accommodate the work schedule and changes to the schedule
- After training the position will require you to work shifts on your own
