Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register - Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery Requirements: - Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food handling and safety regulations - Strong sales skills and ability to upsell menu items - Familiarity with brewing techniques and different types of alcoholic beverages - Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle difficult situations calmly - Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately - Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
