Position Purpose:

To properly maintain pools and spas on the property, along with outside recreation areas.

Individuals must monitor pool chemicals and equipment to maintain proper working order.

Essential Functions:

• Maintaining pools, whirlpools, fountains, and spa (filters and cleaning)
• To make sure the pool deck is in proper order, umbrellas are up, chairs are straight, trash picked up and areas are clean. Decks are sprayed down.
• Pool chemicals and readings make sure they are at proper levels and being maintained.
• Log chemicals.
• Make sure pump stations and equipment is properly working, if not make sure it is addressed to the appropriate person.

Supportive Functions:

• Help out with pool equipment repair.
• Make sure working areas are clean and organized.
• Assist other departments if needed.

Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

• Enjoy working in an outside environment
• Knowledge of the pools and hotel
• Must be able to tolerate environmental conditions, sometimes extreme.
• Must be able to lift 90lbs, carry, reach, bend and twist.

Experience:

Prior Pool Maintenance experience is preferred. CPO Certified.

Due to the seasonal and business nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the staffing needs of the hotel.
