Pool Cleaner

We’re currently hiring pool cleaning technicians! Cleaning technicians are responsible for assisting on pool openings and closings, providing on-site pool cleanings and maintenance. This position includes following daily pool cleaning methods and handling of pool chemicals in a safe manner.

To ensure success as a pool service technician, you should have knowledge of swimming pool equipment and maintenance, be able to work with hazardous chemicals, be able to lift at least 40 pounds, love to work outdoors in beautiful backyards, be a self-starter who has the ability to work independently with minimal oversight and guidance, you will need to be trustworthy, team oriented, friendly, professional and have the ability interact with clients in a professional manner.

Pool Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Driving the company vehicle to customer’s location.
• Maintaining equipment and chemical stock levels in the vehicle.
• Testing swimming pool water chemical levels.
• Adding acid, chlorine, and other chemicals to correct pH level and alkalinity.
• Cleaning swimming pool using authorized equipment
• Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning equipment.
• Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management.

Pool Service Technician Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• Previous experience as a pool technician.
• Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods.
• Extensive knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Professional appearance.
• Valid drivers license.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
