Salary: $10.25/hr. - $11.75/hr. (Depending on qualifications)
To meet and greet patrons, accept admission fees, handle money and make change; create daily cash reports, season swim passes and answer the phone. Perform cleaning or maintenance work on the pool and in the pool area.

SUPERVISION
- General Supervision is provided by the Swimming Pool Supervisor or Head Lifeguard.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- All behaviors comply with the Code of Conduct and Rules of Behavior outlined in Chapter 8 of the General Government Policies and Procedures Manual. Adheres to assigned work schedule as outlined in city and department attendance policies and procedures.
- Greet pool patrons with excellent customer service. Provide patrons with information regarding the operation and rules of the City of Mesquite Aquatics facilities.
- Collect pool admission fees, handle money and make changes as needed while operating a cash register. Perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Balance cash register at the end of shift and administer required reports.
- Observe pool patrons and ensure that pool rules and safety practices are followed.
- Keep office clean and organized. Clean and maintain the pool area.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.
- No experience is necessary; however, six (6) months experience in cash management, operating a cash register or similar work is preferred.
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age at time of hire.

- Flexible schedule
- 20-30 hours per week
- Sunday - Saturday
- 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
