Job Description:
- Prepare substrates for the application of various coating/painting (polyurea, polyurethane, polyaspartic, plural component) systems.
- Mask and build necessary containment for spray applied systems.
- Maintain coating/painting equipment, which includes making minor repairs and ensures proper supplies are on-hand to complete assigned tasks.
- Works effectively as a member of a team, while continuously striving to improve and develop individual skills and knowledge.
- Observes and adheres to company and client safety policies, operating procedures, and technical requirements and specifications.
- Take direction from job foreman.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Ability to:
- Read and understand service requests, material labels, and directions.
- Operate a caulk gun in a clean manner.
- Mask off detailed areas.
- Construct containment to prevent overspray.
- Operate various pieces of equipment, such as sanders, concrete grinders (hand and walk behind), scrubbers, and other specialty equipment.
- Follow directions, understand work rules and procedures, and work as part of a team.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess good multitasking skills.
- Meet or exceed deadlines and schedules.
- Ability to work from ladders.
- Ability to understand full scope of jobs and what tasks need to be executed to complete jobs.
Job Requirements:Must have a clean driving record within the last three years and must be able to pass a drug screen and a nationwide background check. Must have at least a high school diploma and 3 years trade experience.Job Type: Full-time
