SalaryFULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER
The Cloquet Police Department (CPD) is currently seeking applicants for full-time Police Officers within our organization. Candidates with and without prior law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants must possess an Associates Degree with coursework in law enforcement or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience, be MN POST licensed or eligible to be licensed at the time of application.
Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of a background investigation, recruitment testing instruments, physical and psychological examinations, and City Council approval. CPD sworn personnel are represented by Teamster's Local 346 and offer competitive wages and benefits. This job is a full-time, hourly position. 2023 base starting salary is $57,600 - $75,848, depending on experience, education, skill level, and city step plan placement. Excellent benefits package is also provided.
