Form of workAbout the Position: This position is located at the Hawthorne Army Depot in Nevada, with primary responsibility for the oversight and management of the National Crime Information Center.
This is a Public Notice for positions being filled under the Direct Hiring Authority (DHA) for Domestic Defense Industrial Base Facilities and Major Range and Test Facilities Base, NDAA 1125 (a) and (c).
Qualifications: In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes: Enforcing military, federal, state, local criminal, traffic, and/or motor vehicle laws and regulations; investigating crime/accident scene by gathering evidence or interviewing witnesses; and utilizing an automated system to search criminal history records to clear personnel for access or other purposes.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
