Podiatry Medical Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated person to join our medical team. As a Podiatry Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility, a solo private office setting.

Duties

• Assist with patient intake and documentation, including updating medical records and verifying insurance information, some appointment scheduling
• Perform intake vital signs measurements
• Prepare patients for exams, procedures, surgery
• Assist as needed with procedures
• Sterilization of medical equipment
• Schedule off-site MRI, CT, Ultrasound
• Collect and prepare lab specimens
• Ordering office supplies
• Perform x-ray exams, Montana x-ray certification would be a plus

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a hospital or medical setting is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
