Job description

As the Broker Services ManagerCareer General Agency, you will be in an individual contributor role primarily responsible for the management of the customer experience nationwide. You will be the relationship leader and key point of contact working with member insurance agencies to create awareness of products available to retail agencies in the commercial and personal lines segment.

To be successful in this role, you will be responsible for researching and resolving complaints to ensure retention and satisfaction. Contributing to your success will be your knowledge of commonly used marketing and sales concepts, practices, and procedures.

This role requires you to be an experienced commercial insurance customer success and sales professional who can link strategy to execution.

Based on location and requirements of the role, this position will either be a Hybrid or a remote position.


Responsibilities:

Customer Success

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the distribution partners, create valuable connections and maintain trusted relationships.
  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day customer success and sales activities.
  • Be a subject matter expert for company products.
  • Provide proactive outreach to distribution partners utilizing social media, newsletters and HubSpot.
  • Review and professionally respond and resolve to inquiries efficiently and in a timely manner.

Distribution Management

  • Drive outreach to position CGA as the preferred carrier for lines business that fits CGA’s target market and risk appetite.
  • Responsible for onboarding agents and handling the appointment process.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Property and Casualty License.
  • Professional designations (AAI, AINS, AIS, ACSR, ACSR) highly desired.
  • Minimum three (3) years of commercial/personal insurance customer service, account management, or sales experience.
  • Proficient in AMS360
  • Strong relationship management capabilities in support of distribution partnerships.
  • Demonstrable expertise with a variety of customer service, account management and sales concepts, practices, and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with design program WordPress and CRM product – HubSpot
  • Must be able to interpret sales reports, spreadsheets, and budgets.
  • High degree of self-motivation with organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Desire to learn and accept direction.

Compensation:

  • $49,800 - $83,000 commensurate with experience, plus bonus eligibility
  • $54,900 - $91,500 commensurate with experience in CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, and PA, plus bonus eligibility
