Candidate will possess the following:
- 3+ years experience in LTL, distribution/logistics, transportation or operations management
- Load planning/consolidation and dispatching up to 10 trucks per day
- Proven track record of managing resources and efficiencies
- Ability to multitask and continually prioritize a changing workload
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet frequent deadlines
- Knowledge of computer systems and handheld scanning technology
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Driving a culture of operational excellence and model compliance within terminal staff
- Assist in loading trailers with standard forklifts when needed.
- Measuring, setting, and driving company KPI's (Key Performance Indicators)
- Responsible for recruiting and staffing a team of professional drivers and forklift operators
- Training and development of drivers and forklift operators
- Playing an active role in personnel recruitment, development and discipline
- Communicate company objectives across all levels of the facility

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
