NorthPointe
Hospitality - Bell Attendant
As Bell Attendant you’ll be
primarily responsible for welcoming all guests to the hotel as well as bidding
them farewell. You will make the guest feel comfortable through your attentive,
courteous, and friendly manner as you assist them to and from their
accommodations, orient them with the features of the guest room and property,
as well as assist them in any way necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Greet all
guests at the entrance or the lobby in a warm and professional manner, make
them feel welcome and anticipate their needs before they arise.
· Ensure
front office staff provides guests with prompt service, professional attention,
and personal recognition.
· Recognize
all returning and VIP guests and welcome them back.
· Communicate
consistently with the Front Desk and appropriate departments to gain all
pertinent information requirements and special needs for arriving VIP’s, large
groups, and other key guests.
· Assist with
Valet parking during the arrival and departure of the guest. Communicate
parking procedures to guests and visitors.
· Assist
Guests and Visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with
loading or unloading luggage and any special needs.
· Escort all
guests checking in to their accommodations following hotel procedure.
· Provide
guests with information to enhance their experience. Inform them about all
hotel and guest room features and hotel facilities.
· Provide
information on area attractions, restaurants, and activities. Help with
recommendations and help make arrangements when possible.
· Inform
guests about all hotel and guest room features and hotel facilities.
· Assist
guests with their luggage or packages and acknowledge them by name.
· Fulfill
Guest Requests and make deliveries to guest rooms in a prompt and courteous
manner. Deliver messages and run errands as requested.
· Store and
retrieve luggage and other objects for guests
· Support the
Front Desk when needed.
· Maintain
Cleanliness of the Front Entrance and Lobby.
Physical and
Mental Requirements:
· Must be
able to stand or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work
shift.
· Must be
able to move lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or
equal to 80 pounds.
· Must be
able to reach overhead ad below the knees, including bending, twisting,
pulling, and stooping.
· Must
maintain composure under pressure. Ability to work in a team oriented,
fast paced, guest focused environment.
· Ability to
convey information and ideas clearly.
