Compensation:

  • $25.00-38.50 per hour depending on experience & qualifications.
  • Additional profit-sharing incentives.
  • $2,500 cordless tool kit.
  • $400 outerwear allowance.

How you'll contribute to the team:

This team member will perform dispatched service calls to troubleshoot, repair/replace, fabricate, and install new/repaired plumbing equipment and piping systems for residential and/or commercial customers. This person will work autonomously with direction of tasks from Service Support Team and the Service Manager. Troubleshoot, repair, replace, fabricate, and install new/repaired plumbing equipment and piping systems for residential and commercial service calls

  • Troubleshoot/identify/resolve plumbing issues and maintenance on all brands of equipment and various complex plumbing systems.
  • Maintain and drive service truck in a safe manner.
  • Communicate location and progress with Service Support Team and Service Manager.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for each job using company provided technology.
  • Develop and follow work instructions with the ability to follow up on transactions.
  • Stock and inventory service van with necessary material to make repairs.
  • Keep area/vehicle/tools clean and organized clean and in good working order.
  • Promote company services with passion.
  • Heavy lifting, carrying, and operation of tools and equipment.
  • Strong desire to improve yourself and the service team by encouraging safety, teamwork, and cooperation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of plumbing issues. Experience with various tools and equipment used in plumbing work.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions. Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Professional appearance at all times.
  • Must provide own hand tools cordless tools and test instruments provided for you.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.

How you'll qualify:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Knowledge of boiler control and operation a plus
  • Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in Plumbing Service trade preferred
  • Must possess and maintain current South Dakota and Sioux Falls Journeyman plumbing licenses, or ability to obtain them after hire.

What to expect in the field:

  • Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and push and/or pull 50lb loads at a time.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work at height, on ladders or lifts, for long periods.
  • Frequent use of hand tools, forceful grip
  • Must maintain mental clarity in diverse customer and technical situations.
