Residential Service Plumber
We are looking for an experienced Service Plumber to join United Plumbing & Drain. A Trusted Mobile Service and Repair Company - Our full line Plumbing Company has been in the Tampa Bay area for over 25 years. We employ highly trained people who aim to make our company the best service company in the Tampa Bay area. We are an essential service provider to the vital trades that our communities rely on, we are looking to grow the business and expand within the Tampa area, and we are looking forward to meeting with you. Structured Bonus Program after 90 days
Work Vehicle and Gas Card, Uniform Shirts - after 90 days of service you can qualify to take a truck home, earlier if you have proven work experience and skills.
Our Company services Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties. We also service outside counties for several Property Management Companies.
We are a complete Mobile Company with no Office check-in.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems
- Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
- Install and maintain water supply systems
- Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
- Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, etc.
- Repair plumbing on household appliances (e.g. washing machines lines, garbage disposals, faucets).
- Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
- Install all types of water heaters
Skills/Qualifications
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
- Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, . video camera, etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills - sales capabilities
- Must have email, iPad & computer knowledge and experience for daily work.
- Friendly with a great deal of patience
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of apprenticeship - helpful, not required as long as experienced
- Valid Drivers license
