Job Description:

Pure Plumbing Company (located in San Marcos, CA) is looking for an experienced Plumbing Service Technician who is self-motivated with a positive attitude to join our growing and dedicated service plumbing team. You'll be tasked with professionally interacting and explaining our services to the customer, as well as offering and making plumbing recommendation to clients. Our starting pay is $31 per hour (base pay) plus great opportunities for Bonus and other incentive pay.

Lead Plumber Responsibilities:

•ABS Drain Lines (using pipe cutters and glue)

•Cast Iron Waste Lines (using bands and snap cutters)

•Copper water lines (measure, cut, clean, flux and solder)

•CPVC water lines (measure, ream, glue)

•Black iron / flex gas line (layout, measure, run gas machine, install)

•PEX water lines (cut pipe, use fitting expander)

•Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures

•Ability to solder copper, assemble pipes, tubes, and fittings

•Must follow code requirements at all times.

•Maintain/repair sanitation units, water & gas lines & heating systems

•Inspecting/testing plumbing systems for safety and functionality

•Inspecting/testing residential structures are in code compliance

•Handling customer interactions

•Troubleshooting/resolving problems, and preparing estimates

•Utilize software to manage and complete projects

•Responsible for keeping service truck maintained and clean

•Complete tasks in accordance with company quality and safety

•Demonstrate respect and compassion with clients

•Ability to communicate recommendations for repairs or replacements

Skills/Qualifications:

•5+ years of Plumbing Service Tech experience

•Thorough knowledge of residential plumbing installation

•Very familiar with underground, top out and finish

•Strong understanding of current CPC

•Experience in ordering material

•Expert in water supply, drain and gas systems.

•Ability to handle physical workload (ability to lift 80 lbs.)

•Strong communication, customer service and sales skills, friendly and approachable.

•Your tools of the trade (Industry Standard Tools).

Licenses and Certifications

•Valid Driver's License (Required)

Pay Transparency:

The annual salary opportunity for this role ranges from $59K-$100K. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and bonus eligibility. We provide a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, and life insurance.
