Job Title:
Plumbing Apprentice
Job Summary:
Will provide assistance to plumbing mechanic by using, supplying or holding materials or tools. Will ensure work area, tools and equipment are clean.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut and assemble new pipe, placing the assembled pipe as directed.
- Assist foreman and mechanics in the assembly and installation of piping for commercial equipment.
- Disassemble and remove damaged or worn pipe.
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- No experience required
- Career minded
- Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders, walking and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. are required.
