Essential Duties: This position provides the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of all aspects of plumbing systems and equipment.
- Has moderate knowledge in plumbing/sprinkler systems
- Has experience with plumbing work and tools
- Can perform hot work, cutting, threading proficiently and safely
- Works with one (1) other member (junior mechanic or helper) to complete daily tasks
- Reports to Lead Mechanic to discuss any questions/issues
- Follows safety procedure and guidelines
- Does not finalize decisions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees.
- Must have OSHA 40/62, F60 and/or G60, & Limited/Full Gas [a plus].
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Able to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, civility, and a high degree of ethics in all job-related actions.
- Ability to work independently and carry-out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
