Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Plumber / Irrigation Mechanic, the incumbent adjust repairs, troubleshoots and maintains all facilities plumbing system and applications. Must have knowledge of local plumbing codes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
- Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
- Conducts walk – through inspections, of domestic water systems to include water booster pumps, gauges and boiler temperature readings
- Repairs showers, sinks, toilets, water booster pumps and on and off-site facilities
- Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment
- Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate
- Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately
- Maintains tools, equipment and supplies in good, clean, operating order
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
- Performs all duties as assigned.
High school diploma, trade school certificate preferred as well as minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience with commercial / industrial plumbing or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
