PLC Programmer

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for writing, testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing PLC programs to ensure efficient and reliable machine operation. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement PLC programs for new and existing automation systems.
• Analyze and understand control system requirements and translate them into efficient PLC code.
• Utilize ladder logic, structured text, and other relevant programming languages.
• Test and debug PLC programs to ensure functionality and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues within the PLC system.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of PLC programs and systems.
• Stay informed about new advancements in PLC technology and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 3 Years or more of experience as a Automation Technician or PLC Programmer required
• Proficient in ladder logic, structured text, and other common PLC programming languages.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ladder logic programming with Rockwell PC applications such as RS Linx, RS NetWorx & RS Logix 5, 500, and 5000
