Responsibilities of the PLC Controls Engineer:
- Design, validate, and optimize control systems for secondary packaging machinery.
- Proficient in programming and configuring PLCs and HMIs, particularly adept with Allen Bradley Logix and PanelViews Plus.
- Develop intricate electrical schematics, panel layouts, and instrument configurations.
- Well-versed in robotic systems, especially FANUC.
- Produce meticulous specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and cost assessments.
- Seamlessly coordinate control and system projects, ensuring efficacy and adherence to deadlines.
- Foster collaborative synergy within design teams to uphold project benchmarks in performance, schedule, and budget.
Required Proficiencies:
- Proficient in PLC programming and robotics programming.
- Skilled in HMI/SCADA development.
- Expertise in electrical and control system design.
- Familiarity with machine vision systems and safety standards.
- Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferably two years of experience in PLC, HMI, Servo control, and integration, with proficiency in programming Allen Bradley Logix PLCs and PanelView Plus HMIs.
- Three years of AutoCAD experience, preferably with AutoCAD Electrical proficiency.
- Robotic integration experience essential, with preference for FANUC-specific familiarity or three years of general robotic experience.
