Our client, one of the largest structural steel fabricator and erectors across North America is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to bring their knowledge and experience in the field of commercial and preventative maintenance for heavy fabrication equipment.
Job Summary
Provides administrative support to Plant Management in the areas of personnel administration such as but not limited to: tracking employee attendance, employment coordination and staffing needs.
Job Description
- Screens applications and assists with the onboarding process.
- Performs customer service functions for shop employees relating to employment.
- Creates and processes weekly personnel status changes.
- Creates and distributes weekly reports.
- Tracks attendance for production employees.
- Creates and maintains employee personnel files.
- Responsible for outbound USPS and FedEx shipping and tracking.
- Acts as primary attendant to inbound phone calls.
- Office supply inventory and ordering.
Skills Required
· Minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
· Frequent use of MS Windows 7 and/or MS Windows 10, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and Blue Beam PDF Software
· Experience working with KRONOS and/or Paycom is strongly preferred.

· Must have thorough knowledge and an advanced understanding of each competency outlined above to carry out the essential functions of this position.

· Able to speak and read Spanish is preferred but not required.
Education/Training/Certifications
· · High School Diploma or GED equivalent

· Work Environment
o Requires as many hours needed to fulfill the daily and weekly obligations required to carry out the functions.
o Working long days including evenings and weekends can be required for this position.
o Indoors and may sit for long periods of eight (8) hours or more per day.

- Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm with 30min lunch.
Pay Rate/Salary
- $22.00 - $23.00/hr depending on experience. Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skill set and / or location.
