Requirements
What You'll Do:
  • This individual will ensure the efficient and safe operation of plant facilities, equipment, and systems.
  • This role combines engineering knowledge with maintenance leadership to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our plant operations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
  • Continuously evaluate processes and equipment performance to identify areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as production, quality assurance, and supply chain to coordinate activities and achieve overall business objectives.
  • Monitor equipment performance and reliability metrics, analyze maintenance data to identify trends and patterns, and make data-driven decisions to improve maintenance strategies and optimize asset performance.
  • Work closely with our Operations teams, to help implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance overall plant performance including maintenance performance.
  • Ensure compliance in meeting all regulatory standards, partner safety guidelines, food safety standards, and environmental regulations in maintenance and engineering operations.
  • Work closely with our VP of Engineering and Maintenance to develop, manage, and support capital improvement projects to enhance plant capabilities and capacity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do as a Leader:
  • Lead and mentor our maintenance staff, including technicians and mechanics, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure efficient and effective operations of our manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct Growth Process in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policies.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and monitor operational metrics to evaluate departmental performance and drive improvements.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage manufacturing, packaging, and process, pharmaceutical, or another related field
  • Strong knowledge of beverage production processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Strong technical expertise in food processing, packaging, and sanitation principles, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP).
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing projects from conception to completion.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems; experience with SAP or similar platforms preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising, coaching, and developing team members.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey instructions, updates, and reports.
  • Experience in providing training and professional development opportunities to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.
