Planning & Logistics Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Planning & Logistics Manager.  You will have high integrity with the ability to make sound decisions to ensure the high-quality manufacture and delivery of our Animal Health products.

Your key responsibilities in this role would include:

• Manages materials and/or services to support the company’s purchasing programs
• Leads and manages scheduling and warehouse employees and activities to ensure all goals are met
• Responsible for creating a finite production schedule, managing open work orders as well as sourcing raw materials and components necessary for production
• Analyse and create operating schedules that support maximizing machine and labor efficiency and efficiently utilize material and storage space
• Responsible for the timely planning and scheduling of receipt and inventory control of the products and services as assigned consistent with ERP requirements
• Track and Analyse data essential for continuous improvement of schedule attainment
• Develops appropriate metrics and action plans to ensure customer/business needs are met
• Proactively highlight issues that could impact the schedule and lead efforts to eliminate or minimize delays

You must have:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis in business administration or economics or equivalent education and experience
• Three to five years of related experience with Supply Chain and/or Scheduling
• Proven work experience as a Planner and/or Scheduler
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
• Great communication and the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Possess a general understanding of GMP regulations
• Detail oriented
