Planning Department Planning Coordinator

The Town of Jackson is accepting applications for the full-time Planning Department position of Planning Coordinator. We are looking for a value-centered, team-oriented professional to serve in this role and join our organization. The hiring range for this position is $59,800 - $67,600 DOQ.

Persons in this position will be responsible for scheduling and coordination of the planning review process, meeting and agenda preparation including virtual and in-person meeting management, short-term rental permit application intake/renewal/compliance, legal noticing, invoicing, budget tracking, website maintenance, general Planning Department support services.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge are qualifying factors for the position. Typical qualifications equivalent to: Bachelor’s Degree in office management, business management or related field plus five (5) years of responsible general administrative secretarial or data processing work, preferably in a development or planning setting.
