NCCF is Hiring a Placement Specialist Near Washington, DC
Position Purpose: Responsible for all placement and replacement of all children in Foster homes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with CFSA to identify children in need of Foster home placement.
- Match Foster children to Foster homes, ensuring that children are placed in appropriate settings based on their age, sex and needs.
- Identify Foster homes for children in need of respite.
- Respond to On-call placement issues Monday through Thursday.
- Coordinate transportation for placements, replacements, and emergency respites with the Transportation team.
- Attends Placement Stability Meetings
- Enters all placements into Social Solutions (ETO) within 48 hours of placement.
- Communicates all client movement to the NCCF placement list serve within 2 hours of the movement.
- Verifies all initial placements and transfer homes within 24 hours of client movement.
- Participates in the daily 9:30am Flash Call to communicate all client movements occurring within
- Other duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field with 2 years of experience
- Ability to speak and write with clarity.
- An attitude compatible with the goals and purposes of The National Center for Children and Families.
