Job Summary and Qualifications

The individual is responsible for facilitating admissions of HealthONE Crisis Assessment Team patients from HealthONE emergency departments to behavioral health hospital services via management of phone triage. He/she will work closely with all healthcare providers to facilitate and coordinate efficient, effective, quality healthcare. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the life span; possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's clinical status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements related to his or her age-specific needs. He/she will utilize various computer technologies to ensure communication between HCAT and emergency departments regarding the flow of mental health patients. He/she will implement and comply with all the policies, procedures and standards of the unit, department and the institution. The HCAT Placement specialist must be available for 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends. 

**Schedule: Day or night shift

What qualifications you will need:

• BCLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at time of hire and CPI also required within 30 days of hire. 
• High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred. 
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mental health, crisis work, experience preferred
