Pipefitter/Tig Welder

```Duties```

- Our business is primarily performing repairs and alterations to cargo tanks for customers in the transportation industry, small custom pump skids for industrial customers and unique configurations for batching and totalizing skid mounted transfer systems.

- Be proficient in fitting and welding of stainless steel and carbon steel pipe.

- Mechanical/piping \ assembly experience is

-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project specifications
- Set up and operate TIG and MIG welding equipment to join metal components
- Perform welding operations on various materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments, such as calipers, to ensure accurate dimensions and fitment
- Inspect welds for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute welding projects
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

```Qualifications```

- Proven experience as a TIG welder or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting welding symbols
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of welding principles and techniques
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and accurately measure dimensions
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines

- Must have your own hand tools.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
