capacity forklifts or Pettibone.Key responsibilities for this role: Extensive verifiable forklift operating experience, preferably in a pipe yard, or operating 10,000+ lbs. forkliftsPerform pre- and post-inspection on all equipment operatedEnsure receiving and shipping paperwork is accurate and verifiedPartner with the Yard Hand to track inventory and ensure proper deliveryA sound understanding or aptitude to learn pipe transloadingGeneral Maintenance ("bolt on -bolt off")Cleaning / Housekeeping, and initiating steps to resolutionCommit to Safe work practicesthrough situational awareness, following standard operating procedures, receiving constructive criticism, and watching out for the health and wellness of othersPartner with the maintenance team to ensure the facility operates smoothlyUnderstands, or is willing to learn, railroad operations and safetyA sound understanding or aptitude to learn pipe transloadingMechanicallyinclinedBasic computer skillsCan work independently with minimal supervisionCommitted to working safely at all times including a commitment to the policies and procedures of the operationPositive attitude and a good team memberMust be able to attend and pass all tests associated with job-related coursework.
