- Assist Pipefitters in layout and installation which will include manually hoisting pipe, hangers, and supports.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, isometric drawings, and welding procedures to determine the appropriate welding techniques, materials, and equipment required for each project.
- Set up welding equipment and select the proper welding method (such as TIG, MIG, or stick welding) based on the specific requirements of the project and the type of material being welded.
- Prepare pipes and related components for welding, including cutting, beveling, and fitting according to specifications.
- Perform welding tasks, ensuring proper joint preparation, alignment, and fusion of pipes and fittings, while maintaining consistent weld quality and appearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least five (5) years of welding experience.
- Proven experience as a Pipe Welder, demonstrating expertise in various pipe welding techniques (i.e., TIG, MIG, stick welding).
- Must have advanced knowledge of work methods, techniques, materials, and tools used in fabrication.
- Must be highly experienced in the welding of aluminum and stainless-steel parts.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, isometric drawings and welding procedures.
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards.
- Ability to execute welds in all positions.
- Must be able to pass in-house AWS certification which consists of 6G Bend Test and 5G Bend Test for each process.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
